Black Belt- at last!

Nathan tested for and passed his TaeKwonDo black belt test on March 3rd. I am so proud of him for this accomplishment and for all of his time and hard work he put into this. I am also proud of myself for making him stick to it and not quit when so close to this achievement. :-) Some day I KNOW that he will thank me for it. It was so fun to go and watch him during testing to see how much he has learned and to see how talented he is.

My good friend Allyson Bos took some amazing pictures for me. Here are a few of them. Thanks Allyson!

Ms Barnett (his instructor), James Bos (also tested) and Nathan

Nathan had to do 2 hand breaks through 2 inches of concrete.

He also did a kick break through 3 boards.

My personal favorite!

Good job Nathan! Love you!
I cannot believe how fast the years have gone by. It's hard to believe that Nate is 16 years old now. He is such a fine young man. I am so lucky to have him for my son. He is a good example for his younger siblings. He is a good friend and son to me. I can't believe he is going to be out of high school in only a few years. Ugh- where does the time go??
